IQAC Inauguration at Rashmi Institute of Ayurveda Medical Sciences & Research Center, Kudligi

Dr B H M Darukesha, a Proud ISRO Scientist behind Chandrayaan Missions; had inaugurated IQAC - Internal Quality Assurance Cell on 3rd October 2025 at our Rashmi Ayurveda Medical College, Kudligi Dr B.H.M. Darukesha's achievements include a critical role in the Chandrayaan-3 mission by developing the 5W amplifier for its communication system, receiving the "Asamaanya Kannadiga" award for his contributions to India's moon missions, and earning multiple ISRO awards. He is also an associate director at ISRO Headquarters, has led the Thin-Films Laboratory, and conducted research on nanomaterials in space.

Satellite Technology Day Award 2003: Honored for the development and evaluation of the down-trimming of printed resistors.

India Prime-minister’s Award for Essay/Quiz-1993: Received this award from the Government of India

ISRO Leadership: Serves as the Associate Director at ISRO Headquarters in Bengaluru and is also the PRO for the ISRO Chairman.

Asamaanya Kannadiga 2023: Received this award for his contribution to India’s Moon missions.

ISRO Team Excellence Award-2016: Awarded for the development of a 1 W Peltier heater for propulsion applications.

Best Process Development Award-2015: Recognized for the realization of the Thick Film HMC Electronics Fabrication Technology.

Internal Quality Assurance Cell

The IQAC is a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure required by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for all accredited higher education institutions in India.It acts as the nodal agency for all quality-related activities, including the documentation and dissemination of best practices.By involving faculty, management, administration, and students, the IQAC ensures a participatory approach to quality enhancement.

Documentation & Reporting

Creates an institutional database and prepares the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) for submission to the NAAC.

Benchmark Development
